within hours of that, toyota didn't deny there was a problem. instead they came out and said, you know what? they told all of their dealers, stop selling them. we want to identify and fix this problem. and so right now, i mean, i'm looking at the numbers here. 6,000 of these suvs were sold so far. another 1,600 are sitting at dealerships. which means that toyota will stop collecting this money that they had hoped to get from this while they try to figure out what this problem is. they're also saying that if you were one of the people that bought these 6,000 lexuses gx 460s, you can bring them back to the dealership and they're going to give you a loaner vehicle while they try to figure this out. really this all happened within a couple hours of each other yesterday. it continues to develop today as toyota tries to figure out what's wrong. they're trying to sort of respond to all the critics from last time where they were basically not responding quickly enough, according to opponents and critics, to these safety issue. so they tried to jump all
